Louisa Thompson Witten was born on 29 November 1843 at Tazewell County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Thomas G. Witten and Matilda Laird. Louisa Thompson Witten married, at age 25, William Henry Harrison Renfro, age 27, son of James Christopher Renfro and Susannah Thrailkill, on Sunday, 29 November 1868 at Grundy County, Missouri. Louisa Thompson Witten died on 13 November 1932 at Trenton, Grundy County, Missouri, at age 88 years, 11 months and 15 days.
