William Vance VanBeber

     William Vance VanBeber was born on 13 June 1909 at Adair County, Oklahoma. He was the son of Jerry Edward VanBeber and Julia Little. William Vance VanBeber died on 14 August 1977 at Veterans Hospital, Cheyenne, Laramie County, Wyoming, at age 68 years, 2 months and 1 day. He was buried in the Linn Grove Cemetery, located in Wyoming.

WILLIAM VANCE VANBEBER

William Vance VanBeber, 68, 701 35th ave., died Sunday, Aug, 14 at Veterans Hospital, Cheyenne, Wyo., where he had been a patient the last three years.

He was born June 13, 1909, in Adair County, Okla.

In 1930 he came to Greeley and farmed in this area.

During World War II he served with the U.S. Army in the European Theater. After the war, he returned to Greeley and farmed until his health failed in 1974.

He was a member of Guthrie Beck Chapter No. 2, DAV, and of Adamson-Warmuth Post No. 6623, VFW, Evans.

Survivors include four brothers, Harold E., James and Fount, all of Greeley, and Clarence E. of Loveland, and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Kirby of Westville, Okla., and Mrs. Jose Merideth of Stillwell, Okla.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Adamson Memorial Chapel. Adamson Warmuth Post No. 6623, VFW, will be in charge of military interment in Linn Grove Cemetery.
