Marjorie G. Van Bibber, 91, formerly of northeast Kansas City, MO, passed away May 15, 2001, at Independence Regional Health Center. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, at Holy Cross Catholic Church; burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Kansas City, KS. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Sheil-Blackman Chapel, where the rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross School. Mrs. Van Bibber was born November 17, 1909, in Kansas City, MO. She retired as credit manager for Montgomery Wards, having worked there for 26 years. A lifelong area resident, she was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and the church Altar Society. Her memberships also included the U.S. Navy Mothers Club and the War Mothers Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah A. Van Bibber, on November 9, 1978. She is survived by one son, Jimmie L. Van Bibber, Sugar Creek, MO, daughter, B.
