Claude Austin VanBebber was born on 4 January 1883 at Ray County, Missouri.1,2 He was the son of John Franklin VanBebber and Lydia Florence Hutchings.2 Claude Austin VanBebber first married Grace Evans Pryor circa 1906.2 Claude Austin VanBebber married a second time, at age 45, Mary Harrison, age 41 on Monday, 28 May 1928 at Ray County, Missouri.2 Claude Austin VanBebber died on 15 October 1962 at Ray County Memorial Hospital, Richmond, Ray County, Missouri, at age 79 years, 9 months and 11 days.1,2

CLAUDE VAN BEBBER PASSED AWAY OCT. 15
Claude Van Bebber of Richmond, age 79, passed away Monday, Oct 15, 1962 at 5:40 p.m. at the Ray County Memorial hospital. He was a retired farmer and carpenter.
Funeral services were held the following Wednesday at the Thurman funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Harold McElwee.
Pallbearers were Lloyd Allen, Farris Thompson, George Parks, Jr., Don Thompson, Ward Wollard and Ralph Alexander.
Claude Van Bebber was born Jan 4, 1883, the son of Frank and Florence Hutchins Van Bebber, both of Ray County.
He married Grace Pryor, who preceded him in death. In 1928, he married Mary Harrison of Ray County.
Surviving are the widow, of the home, a daughter, Mrs. W. E. Barber of Richmond; a stepdaughter, Mrs. J. R. Kays of Sullivan; two stepsons, David E. Harrison of Jefferson City and Marshall E. Harrison of Kansas City, and a half sister, Mrs. Maggie Banister of Kansas City.
According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Claude's last known residence was Missouri.1
