     Gilbert Updegraff was born on 28 October 1906 at York County, Pennsylvania.1,2 He was the son of Thomas Updegraff and Grace Miller.1 Gilbert Updegraff married, at age 21, Lottie Dove, age 19 on Wednesday, 12 September 1928 at Strinestown, York County, Pennsylvania.1 Gilbert Updegraff died in September 1979 at age 72 years and 10 months.2
