     George Washington Updegraff was born on 15 January 1893 at Pennsylvania.1,2 He was the son of Harry Fortenbaugh Updegraff and Rebecca Beshore.1 George Washington Updegraff married Amanda K. Haverstock, daughter of John C. Haverstock and Amanda [—?—], in 1918.1 George Washington Updegraff died in December 1966 at age 73 years and 10 months.1,2 He was buried in the Mount Olive Cemetery, located in New Cumberland, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.1
