Jason Patrick Rogers was born on 26 November 1985.2 He was the son of James Hugh Harrison Rogers Jr. and Patricia Ann Kiess. Jason Patrick Rogers died on 9 February 2002 at age 16 years, 2 months and 14 days.2

Jason Patrick Rogers, 16, of 347 Smoky Corners Road, Cogan Station, died at his home on Saturday, February 9, 2002. Born Nov. 26, 1985, in Williamsport, he was a son of James H. Rogers, Jr. and Patricia Kiess Rogers.
A sophomore at Williamsport Area High School, Jason was a varsity letter winner in football, and enjoyed weight lifting, hunting, fishing and card playing. He had played baseball in the Hepburn-Lycoming Little League and Babe Ruth league. He was a member of Church of the Annunciation and Boy Scout Troop 36.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his brothers, James H. III and Joshua J; paternal grandparents, Charles H. and Mary Louise Stewart of Cogan Station; and maternal grandmother, Dorothy Kiess of Cogan Station. Jason was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James H. Rogers, Sr. and F. Edwin Kiess.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Annunciation Church, West Fourth and Walnut Streets, with his pastor, Father John K. Manno, officiating. Burial will be in Dunkard Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the Annunciation Parish Center from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions be made to the Jason P. Rogers Scholarship Fund, c/o Williamsport Area School District, Madeline Bird treasurer, 201 W. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701. Arrangements by Sanders Mortuary.
