Albert Thomas Kahler was born on 16 November 1916 at South Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2,4 He was the son of Clarence R. Kahler and Mable Viola Sholder.2,3,1 Albert Thomas Kahler first married Jean P. Shelley circa 1940.2 Albert Thomas Kahler married a second time Margaret Elizabeth Gray, daughter of William Russell Gray and Margaret Ella [—?—], in 1991.2 Albert Thomas Kahler died on 18 July 2005 at South Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 88 years, 8 months and 2 days.2,4 He was buried on 25 July 2005 in the Green Lawn Cemetery, located in Lansdale, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Gregory S. Johnson.2,5

Mr. Kahler was retired from the automobile repair industry. He had been the owner and operator of the former Kahler's Garage in Williamsport.
Albert had attended the Grace United Methodist Church at South Williamsport.
Mr. Kahler enjoyed bowling. He was the recipient of the Senior Bowler of the Year award in 2004. He was a member of the senior bowling league at the ABC Lanes in Williamsport. Mr. Kahler also was a 50-year member of the Post W, Travelers Protective Association (TPA).
Born November 16, 1916, in South Williamsport, he was the son of the late Clarence R. and Mable V. Sholder Kahler.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Jean P. Shelley Kahler, July 17, 1990. He married his second wife, the former Margaret Whitington in 1991. She preceded Mr. Kahler in death in 1999. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Willard J. Kahler, in 1993.
Surviving are his sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Robert Creveling of South Williamsport. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services and interment will be at the Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery. The date and time will be announced at a later date. There will be no visitation. Flowers will be provided.
