Gladys Brucklacher was born on 9 July 1912 at Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2,1 She was the daughter of Robert Richard Brucklacher and Mary Julia Moff.1 Gladys Brucklacher married, at age 27, Harold Ott Walters, age 27, son of George W. Walters and Alice M. Fry, on Saturday, 6 July 1940.1 Gladys Brucklacher died on 5 November 2000 at Valley View Nursing Center, Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 88 years, 3 months and 27 days.2,1 She was buried on 8 November 2000 in the Brucklacher-Spotts Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Jerry A. Cline.1

Gladys B. Walters, 88, of 2140 Warrensville Road, Montoursville, died Nov. 5, 2000, in Valley View Nursing Center following a lengthy illness. Her husband, Harold O. “Bucky” Walters, died March 31, 1997.
Gladys assisted her husband as a dairy farmer and formerly worked at Carey-McFalls, Montgomery. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mill
Creek United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years and belonged to the ladies circle.
Born July 9, 1912, in Hepburn Township, she was a daughter of Richard R. and Mary J. Moff Brucklacher.
Surviving are a daughter, Sylvia S. Yorks of Montoursville; two grandchildren, Thad E. Yorks and Amy Lynn Y. Kutay; two great-grandchildren; and
a niece whom she raised, Donna L. Armes of Montoursville.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, 2255 Warrensville Road, with the Rev. Jerry A. Cline, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Spotts Brucklacher Cemetery, Balls Mills. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. The family will provide the flowers. Arrangements are
being handled by Knight-Confer’s, 1914 Memorial Ave.1
