Andrew Jackson Haney was born on 25 June 1835 at Greenup County, Kentucky.2,3 He was the son of Moses B. Haney and Nancy VanBibber.1 Andrew Jackson Haney first married, at age 22, Josephine Goff, age 14, daughter of Jeremiah Goff and Susanna Steele, on Monday, 7 December 1857 at Stark County, Ohio.1 Andrew Jackson Haney married a second time, at age 30, Cynthia Alice Miller, age 17 on Thursday, 30 November 1865.1 Andrew Jackson Haney died on 15 November 1897 at Dallas County, Missouri, at age 62 years, 4 months and 21 days.1
He became a widower at the age of 29 with the death of Josephine on 1 July 1864.1
