George W. Covode was born in 1812 at Fairfield, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Jacob Covode and Ann Updegraff. George W. Covode married Jane Welshonse circa 1838. George W. Covode died on 25 July 1859 at Fairfield, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, at age 47 years.
