William Luther Yoakum was born on 10 June 1880 at Tennessee. He was the son of George Melvin Yoakum and Louise Welch. William Luther Yoakum married Minerva Rogers circa 1904. William Luther Yoakum died on 24 May 1927 at age 46 years, 11 months and 14 days.1 He was buried in the Fincastle Methodist Cemetery, located in Fincastle, Campbell County, Tennessee.1
