Ardella Sarah Waltz was born on 2 November 1896 at Eldred Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of William Harrison Waltz and Christine S. Hausser. Ardella Sarah Waltz married Robert LeRoy Lynch.

Thelma L. Pauling, 79, of 611 E. Guardlock Drive, Lock Haven, died September 6, 2001, at her residence. Born in Williamsport April 22, 1922 the daughter of Robert and Ardella Waltz Lynch, she was married to Harry L. Pauling who died August 6, 1993.
Mrs. Pauling had worked as a registered nurse in the Williamsport area and was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church.
She is survived by 3 sons, Gordon C. of Milford, Mark L. of Watsontown and Ted L. of New Carlisle, OH; 1 daughter, Susan F. Brooks, with whom she resided; 1 brother, Robert Lynch of Elimsport; 1 sister, Tillie Morehart of Elimsport and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with Rev. Jeffrey Howell of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Clinton Twp. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 5-7 p.m.
