He was the son of Eugene Augustus Hildreth and Mary Hazlett.1 Howard Hildreth married, at age 26, Sallie Glass Holloway, daughter of William Warfield Holloway and Margaret Louise Glass, on Saturday, 18 November 1939 at Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia.1 Howard Hildreth died on 7 January 1994 at age 80 years, 6 months and 15 days.
