     James Alexander Holloway was born on 30 January 1915 at Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia.1 He was the son of William Warfield Holloway and Margaret Louise Glass.1 James Alexander Holloway married, at age 22, Elizabeth Stone Gibbs, daughter of Joseph Shewell Gibbs, on Saturday, 22 May 1937 at Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia.1 James Alexander Holloway died on 13 October 1971 at Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia, at age 56 years, 8 months and 13 days.1
     James was in the Army during WWII.1 He was employed by the Wheeling Steel Corporation in 1960.1
