Eliza Whitaker was born on 30 March 1874 at Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia.1 She was the daughter of Nelson Evans Whitaker and Sarah Fisher Roberts.1 Eliza Whitaker married, at age 28, Dwight Homans Wagner, age 28 on Wednesday, 10 December 1902 at Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia.1 Eliza Whitaker died on 2 August 1931 at Baltimore, Baltimore City, Maryland, at age 57 years, 4 months and 3 days.1 She was buried in the Greenwood Cemetery, located in Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia.1
