     Grace Whitaker Gilkyson was born on 11 April 1912 at Mont Clare, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.2 She was the daughter of Hamilton Henry Gilkyson Jr. and Phoebe Underwood Hunter.1 Grace Whitaker Gilkyson has also been reported to have been born 23 April 1912. She died on 12 March 1967 at Santa Fe, Santa Fe County, New Mexico, at age 54 years, 11 months and 1 day.1
     She never married.
