Timothy Miles Ulmer1,2,3

     Timothy Miles Ulmer was born on 5 March 1966 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1,3 He was the son of Charles Frederick Ulmer and Peggy Ann Bower.1,3,2 Timothy Miles Ulmer first married Melody Grant circa 1991.3 Timothy Miles Ulmer married a second time, at age 40, Rebecca Kaye King on Saturday, 10 February 2007.3 Timothy Miles Ulmer died on 16 October 2008 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, at age 42 years, 7 months and 11 days.3 A memorial service for Timothy Miles Ulmer was held Saint John's United Church of Christ, Lewisburg, East Buffalo Township, Union County, Pennsylvania, on 26 October 2008 at 3 pm with Pastor Justin Krewatch officiating.3
     Timothy Miles Ulmer graduated in 1986 from Williamsport Area High School, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3 His obituary was published on 19 October 2008 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:

     Timothy M. Ulmer, 42, of 1660 Crossroads Dr., Lewisburg, died Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre as a result of injuries from a work-related accident at the Conway Freight terminal in Wilkes-Barre.

     Born March 5, 1966, in Williamsport, he was the ninth of fifteen children born to Charles F. Sr. and Peggy Ann (Bower) Ulmer. He married the former Rebecca Kaye King on February 10, 2007.

     Timothy was a 1986 graduate of Williamsport High School. He was employed at Conway Freight Company, New Columbia, for 10 years where he was responsible for facility maintenance at their area terminals. Earlier in life he worked at Pik-Rite, Lewisburg, as a fabricator and field technician and was a farm hand at several family farms.

     He was a dedicated servant of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a faithful member of Grace Fellowship Church, Lewisburg.

     Timothy was deeply devoted to his family. He loved children and they in return had a great affection for him. He was steadfast, tender-hearted, hard working and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He brought much joy to those around him with his good humor and endearing wit. He enjoyed building projects and the outdoors, especially gardening, camping and biking. Timothy was a Gift of Life organ donor.

     Surviving in addition to his parents and wife are his four children Leah, Joshua, Caleb and Jacob Ulmer and their mother Melody Grant of Milton and two stepdaughters, Clara and Gabriela Grandy of Lewisburg; ten brothers and their spouses, Charles Jr. and Bonnie Ulmer, Steven and Norma Ulmer all of Cogan Station, Dennis and Amy Ulmer of Williamsport, Alan and Robin Ulmer of Mt. Solon, VA, Craig and Karen Ulmer of Turbotville, James and Molly Ulmer of Watsontown, Matthew and Karla Ulmer of New Market, VA, Shawn Ulmer of Greensburg, Jeffrey and Edna Ulmer of Milton and Paul Ulmer of Bloomingdale, IL; four sisters and their spouses, Judy and Timothy Renno of Milton, Lorretta and James Showalter of Mt. Solon, VA, Norma Ulmer and Ruth Ulmer both of Harrisburg; 68 nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and great-nephews.

     A celebration of his life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, at St. John's United Church of Christ, 1050 Buffalo Rd., Lewisburg, with his Pastor, Justin Krewatch, officiating. A time of fellowship and refreshments will be held following the service.

     Burial will be held privately in a local cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers, contributions to benefit his children may be made to the Tim Ulmer Family Memorial Fund at West Milton State Bank, P.O. Box 69, West Milton, PA 17886. Also, donations may be made to the following; Northumberland Christian School, 351 Fifth St., Northumberland, PA 17857 or to Camp Susque, 47 Susque Camp Road, Trout Run, PA 17771.

     The Family is being assisted by the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, S. Second and St. Louis streets, Lewisburg.3
