James Henry Thomas was born on 3 May 1911 at South Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 He was the son of David Nathan Thomas Jr. and Frances Amelia Bower. James Henry Thomas married, at age 25, Stella Mae Fisher, age 22, daughter of Clarence Fisher and Elizabeth Pearl Metzger, on Thursday, 25 March 1937 at Evangelical United Methodist Church, Newberry, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend Benjamin Griffin Hoffman.3,1 James Henry Thomas died on 5 January 1989 at Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 77 years, 8 months and 2 days.2 He was buried on 9 January 1989 in the State Road United Methodist Church Cemetery, located in Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2
