     Jane Whitaker was born in 1785.1 She was the daughter of Joseph Musgrove Whitaker and Sarah Updegrove. Jane Whitaker married William Ross on Monday, 12 October 1807.1 Jane Whitaker died on 4 February 1869 at Princeton, Bureau County, Illinois, at age 84 years.1
