Clarence Charles Clark

     Clarence Charles Clark was born on 24 February 1900 at Woodside, Kent County, Delaware. He was the son of Ezekiel Clark and Emma May Ellingsworth. Clarence Charles Clark married, at age 23, Clarabel N. Rentz, age 18, daughter of John Ellis Rentz and Sadie Verna Casselberry, on Wednesday, 18 April 1923 at Dover, Kent County, Delaware.1 Clarence Charles Clark died on 12 October 1956 at Elmhurst, New Castle County, Delaware, at age 56 years, 7 months and 18 days.1 He was buried in the Grace Lawn Memorial Park, located in New Castle County, Delaware.1
     He Lived in Wilmington, DE in 1942.

He was a veteran of World War I.

The Social Security Death Index has his birth listed as 24 Feb 1902 and with his death listed as 16 Oct 1956 Woodside, Kent County, Delaware.

According to 1900 census Clarence was 3 mos. old at the time of the census.

Sadie Rentz was teaching in Wilmington, DE and brought Clarence C. Clark to Felton to meet Clarabel. He traveled from Wilmington to Felton on a motorcycle. Clarable would not ride on the motorcycle until Clarence put a sidecar on the motorcycle. Verna has a picture of the motorcycle.

He was also a memeber of the Five Points Fire Department. He worked as a grinder for the Delaware Valley Steel Company, Joseph Brancroft & Sons.

In the 1920 Census 19 year old Clarence Clark lived with Garrett Ellingsworth. He was Bancroft Dye Works.
