Lewis Philip Edler was born on 6 August 1864.1 He was the son of Jonathan Edler and Mary Schroat. Lewis Philip Edler married Martha Cordelia Bidelspacher, daughter of Jacob Bidelspacher and Sophia Ulmer, circa 1892. Lewis Philip Edler died on 17 January 1920 at Pleasant Valley, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 55 years, 5 months and 11 days.1 He was buried in the Blooming Grove Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
