Glenn A. Reeder was born on 9 March 1948 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Clarence A. Reeder and Eleanor C. Entz. Glenn A. Reeder married, at age 22, Marcia A. Curley on Saturday, 24 October 1970. Glenn A. Reeder died on 26 July 2001 at Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 53 years, 4 months and 17 days.
Glenn A. Reeder, 53, of 52 Reeder Road, Montoursville died at his residence July 26, 2001, after a 23-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Born March 9, 1948, in Williamsport, he was the son of Clarence and Eleanor Entz Reeder. In 1980 he retired as the Warehouse Manager for Susquehanna Paper and Sanitary Supply Co. in Williamsport. Mr. Reeder was a member of the Heilman United Methodist Church and the Lauchle Lodge in Mill Creek. He enjoyed hunting, playing softball, cards and shooting pool and darts. He and his wife the former Marcia A. Curley celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on Oct. 24, 2000. Surviving besides his wife and parents of Montoursville are a son, Curt A. (Heather) Reeder of Montoursville; a daughter, Dawn R. Reeder at home; 3 brothers, Max Reeder of Muncy and James and Thomas Reeder, both of Montoursville; 3 sisters, Janet Bonner, Kay Henderson and Lorraine Case, all of Montoursville. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St. Montoursville with his pastor, the Rev. Connie A. Waugh, officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Mill Creek Twp. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. The family suggests donations be made to either the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 175 Pine St. Williamsport, Pa. 17701 or the Lycoming Co. M.S. Self-Help Group, 54 Kinley Road, Williamsport, Pa. 17701.
