     Alexander Nimick Jr. was born on 5 July 1917 at Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Alexander Nimick and Martha Keyser Levering.1 Alexander Nimick Jr. married, at age 30, Ruth Cox Porter, age 25, daughter of Andrew Wagoner Porter and Catherine Cox, on Saturday, 1 November 1947 at Chester Springs, Chester County, Pennsylvania.1 Alexander Nimick Jr. died on 1 May 2006 at age 88 years, 9 months and 26 days.
     He became a widower at the age of 85 with the death of Ruth on 26 November 2002.
