William Jordan Howard

William Jordan Howard was born on 31 December 1799 at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware.1 He was the son of William Howard and Elizabeth Jordan.1 William Jordan Howard was baptized, at age 62 years, 8 months and 28 days, on Monday, 29 September 1862 at Episcopal Church, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.1 He married, at age 24, Lydia Updegraff, age 20, daughter of Abner Updegraff and Jane Devine, on Friday, 14 May 1824 at Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.1 William Jordan Howard died on 4 October 1862 at Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, at age 62 years, 9 months and 4 days.1 He was buried in the Allegheny Memorial Cemetery, located in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
He was the Mayor of Pittsburgh in 1845.
