     Homer Dean Neumeister was born on 11 May 1876 at Maxville, Perry County, Ohio.1 He was the son of Friedrich Christ Adelle Neumeister and Sarah Frances Winn.1 Homer Dean Neumeister married, at age 27, Gertrude Edna Wilson, age 21, daughter of Reuben Jackson Wilson and Jennie Lincoln Creamer, on Saturday, 7 November 1903.1 Homer Dean Neumeister died on 11 February 1940 at Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, at age 63 years and 9 months.1
     He Homer was a Private from Company G, 7th Regiment of the Ohio Volunteer Inf. during the Spanish American War.
