Anthony G. Nekut was born on 13 June 1915 at New York City, New York County, New York.1,2 He was the son of George Nekut and Amelia [—?—].2 Anthony G. Nekut first married Trudchen [—?—] circa 1938.2 Anthony G. Nekut married a second time, at age 57, Edith Ellen Woolever, daughter of Harry A. Woolever and Mary Alice Stauffer, on Sunday, 16 July 1972.2 Anthony G. Nekut died on 23 December 2001 at Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, at age 86 years, 6 months and 10 days.1,2
Anthony G. Nekut also went by the name of Andy.2 His obituary was published on 3 January 2002 in the Lancaster New Era, printed in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:
Anthony G. Nekut, 86, of 2228 Town Square North, Manheim, died of natural causes Dec. 23 at Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim.
A former Lancaster resident, Nekut was an electrical engineer who retired from the former RCA Corp. in 1979.
He joined RCA in 1939 and went to work in its Harrison, N.J., plant. He moved to the Lancaster plant in 1942.
Previously, Nekut worked for Emerson Radio and General Electric.
A 1932 graduate of Stuveysant High School, New York City, he earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in 1939 from City College of New York.
Nekut was president of the former Neffsville Elementary School PTA.
He was a member and Sunday school teacher at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lancaster.
An accomplished craftsman, woodworker and mechanic, he built a second home, with his son's help, in Cranberry Lake, N.Y.

He was married 29 years on July 16 to Edith Nekut. His first wife, Trudchen Nekut, died in 1968.
Surviving are two daughters, Margaret Tolzman of Bethesda, Md., and Stephanie Boyer of Columbia, Md; a son, Anthony Jr. of Ithaca, N.Y; a stepson, Christian Mayaud of Bronxville, N.Y; a stepdaughter, Valerie Lieberman of Cranford, N.J; and nine grandchildren.2 According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Anthony's last known residence was Manheim, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.1
