Annie Kiess Pepperman was born on 29 September 1894 at Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3,1,2 She was the daughter of James M. Pepperman and Alice Mary Kiess. Annie Kiess Pepperman married, at age 22, Elmer E. Paulhamus, age 23, son of George Horn Paulhamus and Barbara Waltz, on Friday, 22 December 1916.3,2 Annie Kiess Pepperman died on 13 July 1972 at Divine Providence Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 77 years, 9 months and 14 days.1,2 She was buried on 17 July 1972 in the Woodward Township Cemetery, located in Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.4
Her obituary was published sometime in July 1972 in the local paper, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:

Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. for Mrs. Annie Pepperman Paulhamus, 77, of Montoursville RD 3, who died Thursday, July 13, 1972, in Divine Providence Hospital. The widow of Elmer E. Paulhamus, she was born September 29, 1894, in Anthony Township. Mrs. Paulhamus was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and its Women's Society of Christian Service. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Letha Walters, with whom she resided, and Mrs. Thelma Trowbridge, of Williamsport RD 1; two sons, Clyde E., of this city, and Elwood W., of Amarillo, Tex; three sisters, Mrs. Sara Cupp, of this city; Mrs. Edith Cox, of Newton, N.J., and Mrs. Elizabeth Snyder, of Stanhope, N.J; 12 grandchildren, and 5 foster grandchildren. Services will be held in her church, with the pastor, the Rev. Amandus R. Hunsinger, officiating. Burial will be in Woodward Twonship Cemetery. Friends may call at the Knight funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.2 According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Annie's last known residence was Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
