John Christopher Entz was born on 18 July 1842 at Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Samuel Entz and Christina Kiess. John Christopher Entz married, at age 26, Rachel Amanda Harris, age 21, daughter of Levi B. Harris and Esther Hoagland, on Thursday, 4 February 1869 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. John Christopher Entz died on 10 February 1898 at Eldred Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 55 years, 6 months and 23 days. He was buried in the Christian Hill Cemetery, located in Eldred Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
