     Berton W. Williamson was born on 3 April 1892 at Humboldt, Richardson County, Nebraska.1,2 He was the son of James Elmer Williamson and Annie Lena Sansom. Berton W. Williamson married, at age 25, Erma Catherine Ulmer, age 21, daughter of Daniel Martin Ulmer and Sophia Heim, on Wednesday, 5 December 1917 at Dawson, Richardson County, Nebraska.3 Berton W. Williamson died on 28 February 1981 at Humboldt, Richardson County, Nebraska, at age 88 years, 10 months and 25 days.2 He was buried on 2 March 1981 in the Heim Cemetery, located in Dawson, Richardson County, Nebraska.
     After studying piano in Chicago, Berton returned home and became a Piano dealer for the Baldwin Piano Company in 1913. His first deliveries were made with a team of horses and wagon. He was heard to say that if the delivery was 15 miles away, the trip would take all day. He was honored as the oldest Baldwin dealer. He was a farmer and piano tuner circa 1942.1 The Social Security Death Index gives the last residence of record for Berton as Dawson, Richardson County, Nebraska.2
