     Charles R. Ludwig was born on 24 January 1890 at Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2,1 He was the son of Joseph Franklin Ludwig and Catherine Emma Drumm. Charles R. Ludwig married, at age 25, Bertha E. Steiger, age 21, daughter of Harvey David Steiger and Mary Ellen Bidelspacher, in September 1915.2 Charles R. Ludwig died on 26 May 1968 at Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 78 years, 4 months and 2 days.2,1 He was buried in the Stoltz Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3
     According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Charles's last known residence was Cogan Station, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
