Christian Heim was born on 25 December 1764 at Möhringen, Oberamt Stuttgart, Neckarkreis, Württemberg.1 He was the son of Johannes Jakob Heim and Juliana Reutter. Christian Heim married, at age 23, Maria Katharina Wagner, age 25 on Tuesday, 25 November 1788 at Möhringen, Oberamt Stuttgart, Neckarkreis, Württemberg.2 Christian Heim married Catherine Elizabeth Guinther, age 26 in December 1790 at Möhringen, Oberamt Stuttgart, Neckarkreis, Württemberg.2 Christian Heim died on 30 July 1840 at Blooming Grove, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 75 years, 7 months and 5 days.1 He was buried in the Blooming Grove Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
He was Weaver - Farmer. He This family is listed as 'Family K' on the Blooming Grove, Stammbaum Wäldchen (Family Tree Little Woods) that was originally printed about 1860 - 1862. The one used for this record is currently in the possession of Frederick and Zella Stablerrrr. The Blooming Grove Historical Socitey also has one on display at their musuem. The beginning reads, 'With approximately 20 family trees of families who largely live in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania and who still have living parents at the turn of the century, mostly from Mühringen and Eßlingen in Würtemberg, and who have moved here.'.'.'.'
As they left Möhringen, Germany on 9 June 1804, they spent the first night in Vaingen on the Enz River. On the 10th they passed through Bruchal to Langen Bruecken. On the 11th they reached Saxheim, the 12th to Aller Heilige and then on to Frankfurt on the 13th. They remained there until the 16th when they took a ship a went to Muiden. They set sail early in the morning, spending the night at Elsfeld. They then continued until noon on the 20th of June, when they arrived in Arnheim, Holland. After many delays, they set sail on the morning of July 12th sailing on the ship LuLu and landing in Philadelphia on the 12th of September.
He came to America on 19 Mar 1817 with the third group of settlers.
