     Thomas A. Mekis was born on 24 January 1902 at New Jersey. He was the son of Joseph Mekis and Caroline Bator.1 Thomas A. Mekis married, at age 29, Ann Carol Harmon, age 24, daughter of Herbert William Harmon and Flora Friedline, on Friday, 6 February 1931 at Grove City, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.1 Thomas A. Mekis died in July 1981 at age 79 years and 5 months.
     He was a Civil Engineer.1
