     Ralph Lester Burton was born on 7 July 1922. He was the son of Ernest Burton and Ella Breshears.1 Ralph Lester Burton married, at age 26, Val Jean Slaybaugh, daughter of William Dean Slaybaugh and Minnie Ette Pence, on Thursday, 16 December 1948 at Borger, Hutchinson County, Texas.1 Ralph Lester Burton died on 29 December 1983 at age 61 years, 5 months and 22 days.1 He was buried Douglas, Converse County, Wyoming.1
     He was employed by Phillips Pet Company circa 1970.1
