Grace Louise Hornberger

Grace Louise Hornberger was born on 26 July 1923 at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Foster Jacob Hornberger and Violet Jane Hensler. Grace Louise Hornberger married, at age 20, Lester Samuel Levi Paulhamus, age 28, son of Sylvester William Paulhamus and Bessie Roseanna Kinley, on Saturday, 28 August 1943 at Trinity Evangelical Church, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend John Benton Mays and Reverend Harold C. Hornbeck.2 Grace Louise Hornberger died on 12 November 2002 at Roseview Manor, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 79 years, 3 months and 17 days.1 She was buried on 15 November 2002 in the State Road United Methodist Church Cemetery, located in Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
Her obituary was published on 14 November 2002 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:
Grace L. Paulhamus, 79, formerly of Cogan Station, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002, at Rose View Center. Her husband, Lester S. L., died Oct. 23, 2000.
Grace had been a private duty nurse for several years and worked with her husband on their dairy farm. She was a former member of State Road United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing.

Surviving are three sons, one daughter, two sisters and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Knight-Confer s, 1914 Memorial Ave., with Pastor Daniel R. Lepley, her nephew, officiating. Burial in State Road Cemetery. Visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday. The family will provide the flowers and suggests donations be made to the Susquehanna Hospice, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
