David Curtis Springman was born on 3 September 1955.3,1,4 He was the son of Arnold Elwood Springman and Alice J. Bosch.2 David Curtis Springman married, at age 21, Diane Lucille Schon, daughter of Floyd Kenneth Schon and Joan G. Renninger, on Sunday, 16 January 1977.3,4 David Curtis Springman died on 23 January 2001 at age 45 years, 4 months and 20 days.1,4 He was buried on 27 January 2001 in the Twin Hills Memorial Park, located in Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.4
His obituary was published on 25 January 2001 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:
David C. Springman, 45, of 400 Hilltop Road, Montoursville, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, at home following an extended illness. He and his wife, the former Diane S. Schon, observed their 24th wedding anniversary Jan. 16.
He was owner/operator of Springman’s in Eldred Township. Previously, he was foreman of the former Springman Building Supply, Farragut. He attended Loyalsock Baptist Church.
Born Sept. 3, 1955, in this city, he was a son of Arnold and Alice Bosch Springman.
Surviving, besides his wife, are his father and mother of Montoursville; a son, Floyd D. at home; four daughters, Katie N., Anna L., Megan S., and Renee E., all at home; a brother, Vaughn in Florida; three sisters, Linda Bair and Christine Hall, both of this city and Beverly Simms of Ephratra.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Spitler’s, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with the Rev. John W. Pittenger officiating. Burial will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy RR 2. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.4
