Ann Lou Hartman

Ann Lou Hartman was born on 10 September 1926 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Harry H. Hartman and Grace Williams. Ann Lou Hartman married, at age 20, Gerald Keith Ault, son of James Clyde Ault and Mildred Rosa Updegraff, on Thursday, 27 March 1947. Ann Lou Hartman died on 1 July 2003 at Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 76 years, 9 months and 21 days.
Her obituary was published on 2 July 2003 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:
Ann L. Ault, 76, of 2171 Quaker State Road, Montoursville, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003, at her residence. She was born Sept. 10, 1926, in Williamsport, a daughter of Harry H. and Grace (Williams) Hartman.
Ann retired from the Williamsport Area School District where she had taught second grade in the Cochran Elementary School, third grade in the Sheridan Elementary School and was a member of the P.S.E.A.
She is survived by her husband, G. Keith Ault, with whom she celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on March 27, 2003. She is also survived by a son, Keith A. Ault of Montoursville; a daughter, Jill L. (Allen) Kaplan of Barbours; and three grandchildren, Matthew, Heather and Gerald Kaplan.
She is predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held Monday, July 7, 1 p.m., at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 827 Good Shepherd Road, Upper Fairfield Township, Montoursville, with the Rev. Wilbur L. Scranton, Deacon Assistant of Christ Episcopal Church in Muncy, officiating.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Susquehanna Cancer Center, c/o Providence Health System Foundation, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
Arrangements are by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
