     Ellis Peter Updegraff was born on 23 January 1900 at Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of David Updegraff and Harriet R. Harris. Ellis Peter Updegraff married, at age 23, Laura Margaret Greene, daughter of George Greene and Margaret Devitt, on Friday, 2 March 1923 at Watsontown, Delaware Township, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.2 Ellis Peter Updegraff married Peggy Newhall circa 1931.2 Ellis Peter Updegraff married Agnes Greene, daughter of John Greene and Selma Danielson, circa 1938.2 Ellis Peter Updegraff died on 27 April 1979 at age 79 years, 3 months and 4 days.1 He was buried in the Sunset Hill Cemetery, located in Jamestown, Chautauqua County, New York.2
