John Andrew Dangle was born on 9 November 1923 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2,1 He was the son of Franklin F. Dangle and Florence Edna Kinley.1 John Andrew Dangle married, at age 24, Bernadine H. Aderhold, daughter of Howard Anderson Aderhold and Sadie Bell Hill, on Saturday, 10 April 1948 at Hagerstown, Washington County, Maryland.2,1 John Andrew Dangle died on 12 June 2008 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Mahoning Township, Montour County, Pennsylvania, at age 84 years, 7 months and 3 days.1 He was buried on 17 June 2008 in the Twin Hills Memorial Park, located in Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Mark D. Brumbach.1

He and his wife, the former Bernadine H. Aderhold observed their 60th wedding anniversary on April 10.
John was an Army veteran of WWII and a Purple Heart recipient.
John retired from Bethlehem Steel in 1984 after more than 30 years of service.
John enjoyed hunting, fishing and trap and skeet shooting. He loved the outdoors, was an avid bowler and a member of the 700 club.

John was predeceased by a brother, Harry and sisters, Lurlene Lockcuff, Bernadine Sweet and Doris Mae Burkholder.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Knight-Confer’s, 1914 Memorial Ave with the Rev. Mark D. Brumbach officiating. There will be a visitation from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park.
