Sylvia C. Lockcuff was born on 30 March 1916 at Linden, Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 She was the daughter of William Jonathan Lockcuff and Grace Kittie Young.2 Sylvia C. Lockcuff married Joseph F. Belton circa 1937.2,3 Sylvia C. Lockcuff died on 31 January 2002 at Rose View Center, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 85 years, 10 months and 1 day.2 She was buried on 4 February 2002 in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Judith P. Hulslander.2

Sylvia C. Belton, 85, of 679 Grandview Drive, Linden, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, in Rose View Center. She was the widow of Joseph F. Belton, who died Feb. 2, 1984.
Born March 30, 1916, in Linden, Sylvia was a daughter of William L. Lockcuff and Grace Young Lockcuff Younkin. She had been employed by Ray-O-Vac.
Surviving are three daughters, Donna Huggins of Nisbet, Carol Robinson of Linden and Onalee Simpson of Jersey Shore; a brother, Lewis Lockcuff of Linden; 18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Edward P. Belton; sisters Merna Marshall, Edith Bryan and Grace Goodbrod and brothers Dallas, Reynolds "Jim," Richard, Paul and William Lockcuff.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday from Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., with the Rev. Judith P. Hulslander officiating. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery. Friends may call at Sanders from 7-9 p.m. Sunday.2
