Ronald Wayne Calkins was born on 26 June 1952 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1,3 He was the son of Ronald Floyd Calkins and Esther E. Derr.1,2,3 Ronald Wayne Calkins died on 29 April 2011 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Mahoning Township, Montour County, Pennsylvania, at age 58 years, 10 months and 3 days.3
He graduated in 1970 from Williamsport High School, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3 He graduated in 1979 from the former Yavapai College (now Prescott College) in Prescott, Arizona receiving an Associate Degree.3 As of June 2009, Ronald Wayne Calkins lived at 528 Reuben-Kehrer Road, Muncy, Pennsylvania.2,3

Born June 26, 1952, he was a son of Ronald F. and Esther E. Derr Calkins. He loved his large family and they loved him and he will be greatly missed. He was a graduate of Williamsport High School, class of 1970 and received an Associate Degree from the former Yavapai College (now Prescott College) in Prescott, Arizona in 1979.
His interests included music, TV, the internet, the Earth's beautiful scenery, politics, and he was a fan of the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Eagles.
During his life he worked for A. C. Neilsen, Distribution Services Inc., Retail Data LLC, and Information Resources Inc. as a data collector and field auditor.
He is survived by his father Ronald F. and two brothers Kevin and Jeffrey Calkins, all of Muncy, five sisters; Judith Caputo, Rhonda Bitler (Mel), Brenda Winder (John), all of Williamsport, Susan Logan (Dennis), of Montoursville, and Debra Steinbacher, of Nesbit and 23 nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his mother Esther and two brother-in-laws Anthony L. Caputo and Gregory Steinbacher.
Respecting Ron's wishes there will be a private family burial in Wildwood Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Sanders Mortuary.
