David Stabler

David Stabler was born on 26 September 1841 at Farm of Johann George Stäbler, Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Johann George Stäbler and Sarah Elizabeth Waltz. David Stabler died on 13 August 1875 at Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 33 years, 10 months and 18 days. He was buried in the Anthony Baptist Church Cemetery, located in Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
He and his brother Abraham would buy horses and haul them to farms and sell them. On August 13, 1875 David got kicked badly and died about an hour after he was kicked. He died in a spindle bed that is now owned by one of the Stabler descendants (Kip?). This spindle bed has the date of David's death noted on one of the spindles. He was a farmer and horse trader. He appeared on the census of 28 August 1850 in the household of Johann George Stäbler and Sarah Elizabeth Waltz at Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
