     Marvin Marquardt was born on 8 March 1920. He was the son of George L. Marquardt and Mary Yenter. Marvin Marquardt married, at age 51, Hester Faye Updegraff, age 53, daughter of Harry Francis Updegraff and Hester F. Swart, on Saturday, 16 October 1971 at Elwood, Madison County, Indiana.1 Marvin Marquardt died on 3 March 1995 at age 74 years, 11 months and 23 days.
     He was Navy.
